Port Elizabeth, a Host City

The City of Port Elizabeth will be hosting a number of the World Cup Football matches in 2010 and on top of that one of these matches will be a semi final match. The city has been put down in many blogs and articles that it is not a good tourist destination and that people should avoid staying over. This is a tag that the World Cup will hopefully remove as this can be one of the best cities to include on you holiday to South Africa. With perfect beaches, whale watching, dolphin cruises, diving, hikes, a rich history and friendly people this should become part of any visitors program. There is something for everyone, especially active and sport loving travelers. The many excellent quality golf courses and some of the best watersport beaches this is a place for any active and sport lover. The rich history and many historical buidings and art galaries will have art lovers entertained for some time. The same can be said for safari and game viewing activities. The world famous Addo Elephant park, Tsitsikamma National Park and the Baviaans Nature Reserve are only a view amongst many game and wilderness rich parks in the region.

To enjoy all of this and still have money in you pocket there are many types of accommodation availible. From Backpackers to luxury guest houses and compared to other host cities Port Elizabeth does offer more value for many and a lot of options that will not be possible at other host cities.

Lathita Tailor Made Travel can assist you to plan you perfect "Soccer Fever" safari for 2010 and together with partners in the region can cater for most budgets and interests.
